RE Foundation Course

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

To complete this application, you will need to have the following documents:

  • A copy or a scan of the information page of your passport (the one with your picture on it)
  • A 500 word Personal Statement 
  • CV including education, membership of professional organisations, work history

By submitting this application, you confirm your understanding that:

  • The RE Foundation Course is a hands-on process and I am willing to give and receive massage on all relevant parts of the body in a respectful learning environment during the modules
    (to increase our cultural awareness and needs of different educational approaches, we would be grateful if you could specify in your personal statement any cultural and religious specific feature that you think we should be aware of).
  •  I am participating in this training on the basis that I am responsible for my own wellbeing. 
  • I am willing to commit myself to the work and structure of the course. 
  • I understand that the habitual use of drugs and alcohol are incompatible with the aims of the course.

Education & Employment Information

The Rhythmical Einreibung Foundation Course is open to health care professionals and those in allied professions. It is also open to anyone who is interested in learning RE. No prior experience in massage or therapeutic touch is needed. It is essential to have the possibility to complete 10 Treatment Reports forms for friends and family or clients.

Chosen Fee Payment

Course fees can be paid upfront or via a payment plan as follows:

Option 1: £1900 (£285 deposit plus £1,615) if paid upfront at time of acceptance.

Option 2: £2000 with a payment plan of £285 deposit and 2 equal payments of £857.5

1st Payment by 10 September 2024 or at time of acceptance if later than 10 September.
2nd Payment by 10th February 2025

If you cancel the course booking within 14 calendar days of receiving your acceptance confirmation, any payment made will be refunded in full, up until 60 days prior to the start of the course; thereafter there are no refunds.
Special consideration will be given in cases of illness confirmed by medical evidence.
Cancellations received after the 14-day cancellation period and earlier than 60 days before the start date of the course will receive a refund of any fees paid minus the Deposit. Thereafter there are no refunds.
There are no refunds for missed days or modules.
If you apply within 14 days of course start, any cancellation within 14 days of acceptance confirmation (provided that there has been no attendance or access to resources) will be entitled to a full refund, in line with Consumer Protection Legislation.
If the course has started within this 14 day notice period, you may be liable for those days attended.
If you have had a payment plan agreed by the course registrar, the above cancellation policy applies.

Should you wish to leave prior to the end of the course:
• You must communicate this in writing by email to registrar@emerson.org.uk
• Any instalments due prior to you communicating your wish to leave will not be refunded.
• If you do not communicate your wish to leave before the instalment dates for the upcoming year (2nd year - 16th December 2024, 3rd year - 16th December 2025), you will be charged the fee for that year.
• Should you leave prior to the end of the course and you have paid upfront for the full course, you will not receive any refund of your fee. However, you will be offered to re-join for the next intake.
